Randy Orton set to return at Survivor Series 2023

After an 18-month hiatus from in-ring action, Randy Orton's highly-anticipated return has been confirmed on tonight's WWE Raw.

The revelation of the final member of the men's WarGames team at Survivor Series unfolded in the closing moments of the show.

During the Raw main event, Drew McIntyre secured victory against Jey Uso, ensuring that the team of Judgment Day, along with McIntyre, would gain a strategic advantage in WarGames. The suspense continued as the babyface team's fifth member remained shrouded in mystery.

Despite efforts by Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins to recruit another star proving unsuccessful, Cody Rhodes confidently announced that his chosen contender was ready to join the team.

In the ring, Rhodes teased the mystery man's connection, emphasizing a significant "legacy" they shared. The crowd erupted with excitement, recognizing hints like "prey," "apex predator," and "voices in your head."

Amidst the chants of "Randy!" from the crowd, Cody confirmed the speculation: their fifth member was indeed Randy Orton. The revelation left Jey Uso visibly shocked, possibly apprehensive about this unexpected addition.

Randy Orton's last match took place in May 2022, where he and Matt Riddle lost the Tag Team Championship to Jimmy and Jey Uso. Now, the Viper is poised to re-enter the ring, adding a thrilling dynamic to the upcoming WarGames event."
