It didn’t take too long for AEW to get in touch with Daniel Bryan, once he left the WWE.
Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam reports that AEW’s internal talks on bringing Daniel to the company began in May of this year, soon after his WWE contract expired and he left the Career vs. Title match to the reigning WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns on April 30.
However, the talks back then weren’t of much substance as there were no contract talks or negotiations taking place. The actual contract talks between the two parties began just a few week ago.
It is firmly believed that Daniel Bryan has indeed signed a contract with AEW and he is expected to make his debut for the company on September 22nd, at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.
It is currently unknown how long Bryan has signed for, or how much his AEW contract is worth.
However, one thing seems to be for sure - Daniel Bryan is All Elite.
